The VIP-I series of induction power supplies use advanced IGBT Power components with precise & responsive digital controls and informative diagnostic functions.

The VIP-I systems are available in a wide range of power levels from 5 kW to 500 kW with corresponding furnace sizes ranging from 5 Kg to 1,000 Kg. Enhanced operational safety is ensured with double protection provided by an isolation transformer and a ground leak detector.

In its standard configuration, a VIP-I unit includes a digital control board with fibre optic connectors for a clear signal processing. A digital display and an integral keypad is provided for control & data entry. The operational parameters are managed in different modes with facility to view system diagnostic results, kWH reading and alarm history. |

The compact de-ionized (DI) water cooling module supplied with the system is designed for easy access and maintenance to provide optimum cooling for the system components. |

The VIP-I units can be provided with an optional remote control panel for the system control from a convenient location on the furnace platform. |

For an advanced computer control assistance to the operator, VIP-I units can be provided with optional Melt Manager Plus™ feature for melt automation. The controls include a full-colour LCD screen with touch sensitive control interface powered by Microsoft Windows XP . Melt Manager Plus helps in optimizing power usage and has the ability to record, display, store, print and communicate a wide variety of operational data. |
