Work Coil Positioning Table |
A work Coil Positioning Table provides motorized adjustment of the mill set-up. The number of adjustment axes required depends on the pipe or tube production range and the mill configuration. Thermatool will gladly review your production requirements and recommend the best table for the application.

ThermaView & ThermaSure |
ThermaView |
The ThermaView diagnostics system is a microprocessor-based graphics package that gives mill operators a constant display of welder conditions, coupled with easy-to-use trouble-shooting indicators. A powerful preventive maintenance tool, the ThermaView system provides early warning of conditions which could result in system shutdown if not corrected.
To facilitate welder set-up, a Weld Rate Calculator will provide the recommended mill speed for an entered Kilowatt, or a recommended Kilowatt for an entered mill speed.

ThermaSure |
Automatic weld temperature control system. To help maintain a consistent, high-quality weld, Thermatool offers the TherMasure system - a non-contact weld temperature measurement and control system that monitors and reacts to fluctuations in weld temperature to maintain a constant, pre-set weld power.

Variable Frequency Welders |
Thermatool's stabilised variable frequency system allows the operator to remotely select the frequency best suited for the tube or pipe being produced. This allows a broad range of products such as stainless steel and coated materials to be manufactured on the same mill. The frequency is maintained at the value selected to ensure quality and repeatability. This feature arrangements the frequency capabilities of Thermatool's CFI series welder that leads the way with the widest and highest range of frequencies in the industry. |

Dual Welder Contact/Induction |
With ever increasing energy costs worldwide, more pipe producers have been selecting dual induction/contact welders.
The benefits to the producer are as follows: |
Two processes in one welding system. |
Meet demanding API pipe specifications with the induction process. |
Achieve highest power cost savings with the contact welding process. |
Achieve highest efficiency with contacts when welding hollow structural sections (HSS). |
Quick Change capability between Induction/Contact via Selector Switch on Operator’s Console. Contact/Coil modules simplify quick changeovers. |
